Community cinema that shows 10 films a year on the third Saturday of the month, form October until July at the Hillcrest Community Centre.
Wide variety of mainstream, independent and foreign films. Watching a movie at the Hillcrest is a completely different experience, starting with the ambiance in the Cafe, where you can have a snack or a meal of delicious homemade food, or just a tea or coffee. The choice of films will not be the kind being shown in the big cinema multiplexes, but quirky, appealing movies and foreign films that don't get the distribution they deserve. Remember, the best way to see a film is on the big screen in the company of others.
